Ryan Catholic Newman Center
Jul 26th, 2006 by Br. Joshua
Today the Pittsburgh Oratory is housed in the beautiful and comfortable environs of the Ryan Catholic Newman Center located in the heart of Pittsburgh’s education district, called Oakland. The Newman Center, built in 1994, was designed to give the students a spiritual center near campus where they could pray, study, socialize and discuss their faith within a warm and friendly atmosphere. A “spiritual” home away from home, the Newman Center allows the Oratorians to provide a rich and dynamic diversity of programming for the students’ religious needs as well as a convenient Mass schedule for students and local supporters of the Oratory.
The Student Center is open and available for students to use daily during our open hours. The Oratory chapel is open to the public during the same hours.
