Communion & Liberation
Jul 13th, 2007 by Br. Joshua

The Oratory is happy to host the meetings and activities of the Communion and Liberation (CL) movement. Somewhat distinct from the many societies and organizations with which the Church has been blessed after the Second Vatican Council, CL has an alternative focus on young families in a less structured - but no less serious - engagement. The Oratory believes that their “school of community” can make a significant contribution to the Oakland community of Pittsburgh, with its university graduate students, faculty and staff that often require a more flexible approach, though CL is open and welcoming to all who are interested. Anyone who would like more information on upcoming events should call the Oratory, or check back for news and announcements.
A flavor of the CL spirit is available through their publication, Traces. With many comments on the works of CL founder Luigi Giussani, as well as on items and events of social, cultural, and ecclesial interest, Traces does not fail on food for thought and prayer.
