A Message from The Catholic Anchor
Oct 26th, 2006 by Office Manager
If you are extremely worried, as all of you should have been, about not having heard from the Catholic Anchor in a while, be comforted in knowing that it is not your fault. As this notice is evidence of, there have been changes in the leadership of the Anchor, and the elections were held quite late. I am now Editor-in-Chief, and have very big shoes to fill after Elise’s departure from the position, and I am only confident by reason of the capable people who have replaced the other very capable former officers.
The deadline has been changed one last time to October 30th. We are close to having enough articles, but I do want any of you who weren’t aware of the current situation to have a chance to write something if you wish. We have published a variety of submissions in the past, such as theological and philosphical essays, book and movie reviews, and poetry, and we are not averse to new ideas.
It’s the same drill: send submissions to thecatholicanchor@yahoo.com, and keep submissions to 750 or fewer words. Remember: the 30th by 9PM.
As one last note, if anyone is interested in contributing in some other fashion, consider helping out with distribution or copy editing. If either interests you, drop me an email.
I am looking forward to working with everyone,
Paul
