FOCUS
Aug 3rd, 2006 by Fr. Joshua
The Fellowship of Catholic University Students (FOCUS) has been fostering the spirit of Christ on university campuses since their founding in 1998. The members of this missionary team are intent on drawing Catholic university students to the peace, freedom and joy that come from belonging to Christ and obeying His commands. They are trained to provide engaging Bible studies directed at feeding the university student’s mind and heart. They foster community life through the personal influence of Christian friendships.
The Fellowship of Catholic University Students supplies missionaries to the Newman Center to assist the Oratorian Fathers as part of the campus ministry staff. This year, the Newman Center is happy to have Jack Berard, Ashton Mallon, Ruth Kalscheur, Anne Devine, and Bryce Garber on the scene working to bring the life of Christ and His Church to our Oakland campuses. May God Who has begun this good work bring it happily to completion. More information on FOCUS is available at their website.
