Course Objective
This is a follow up class to the Origins of the Catholic Faith, taught in Spring 2010. It will examine Christian practice, beginning with the sacraments and exploring the way in which they regulate Christian life. Besides examining the rituals associated with the celebration of the sacraments, the class will also trace their historical development from the early Church.
Course Materials
The primary text will be the Catechism of the Catholic Church, but relevant scriptural texts and selected writings from ancient, medieval, and modern periods will complete the review.
