Eucharistic Miracles of the World Exhibit
May 28th, 2009 by Office Manager
In anticipation of the Feast of Corpus Christi (June 14), the Eucharistic Adoration Committee of the Pittsburgh Oratory and Saint Paul Cathedral Parish have organized the following event:
On June 13 and 14, the Vatican International Exhibition “Eucharistic Miracles of the World” will be on display in the Parish Social Center at Saint Paul Cathedral (108 N. Dithridge Street). The exhibit presents the story of 126 miracles associated with faith in and worship of the Most Blessed Sacrament. These miracles, like all miracles, are gifts from God to witness to some truth or to testify to someone’s sanctity. The devout study of the Eucharistic miracles inspires in us a deeper awareness and more ardent love of our Lord’s Real Presence with us in the Holy Eucharist.
The exhibit can be viewed on Saturday, June 13 from 5:00 – 8:00pm, and Sunday, June 14 from 10:00am – 8:00pm. There is no charge for the event. However, any donation would be greatly appreciated to offset the costs of advertising. For more information, please contact Father David Abernethy at 412-681-3181 or frdavid@pittsburghoratory.org.
