Forty Hours at the Oratory

Jan 8th, 2007 by Br. Joshua

The Oratory looks forward this month to hosting a Eucharistic event - the traditional forty hours devotion. During our “Forty Hours for Life” in advance of the annual “March for Life” in Washington D.C., from Thursday night to Saturday morning, January 18 - 20, the Blessed Sacrament will be exposed for adoration in the Oratory chapel. In addition to the opportunity for silent prayer, the schedule will include some small meals downstairs with talks, special speakers/homilists, and devotional prayers interspersed throughout this triduum. Look in this space for details in the coming weeks, but reserve a spot on your calendar, and consider signing up for one or more hours for this special event.
